STATE ASSESSMENT EXAMS

The TI-Nspire handheld is permitted on a growing number of state assessment exams that includes Illinois, Maine, Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and Wyoming. To find out if your state permits TI-Nspire technology, go to the state information map or contact your state’s education department.

TEST PREPARATION

The Press-to-Test feature for TI-Nspire and TI-Nspire CAS handhelds is a fast way to configure student handhelds on exam days. Using a special key sequence on TI-Nspire and TI-Nspire CAS handhelds, the built-in Press-to-Test feature temporarily blocks access to certain geometry features not allowed during testing. The temporarily disabled geometry features can be easily restored after the exam for continued use during classroom lessons and activities.

The Press-to-Test feature also works with the TI-Nspire handheld's interchangeable TI-84 Plus Keypad.

Download the latest TI-Nspire operating system that includes the new Press-to-Test feature.
For instructions on using the Press-to-Test feature, go to Press-to-Test.
To learn more about other testing resources, request the TI Test Prep Solutions Kit.

Please check with your school district or state department of education to determine whether Press-to-Test is approved for exams.
