In Statistics, students can literally grasp the math with TI-Nspire technology: they can grab and explore data and watch how changes in data can affect the statistical analysis.
The TI-Nspire technology allows you to:
- Create quick graphs of one- and two-variable data sets that can be analyzed and manipulated in real time.
- Understand the shape/center/spread of data and the distribution and influence of outliers.
- Manipulate data points and observe changes to a regression equation, histogram, and box plot simultaneously.
- Perform simulations using the random number generator and use results to compare and contrast experimental and theoretical probability.
- Calculate and visualize distributions, such as binomial and normal distributions.
- Perform a variety of descriptive and inferential statistical calculations on real data sets, while simultaneously analyzing its graphical representation.
